During his lifetime, the Late Amb. Micheal G. Okeyo started and supported numerous causes aimed at educating underprivileged children, socio-economic development of women and youth, and community development. Suba District is one of the most marginalised in Kenya. It has a population of 200,000 most of whom are young to middle age. The population consists mainly of subsistence farmers and peasant fishermen. Area infrastructure is one of the poorest in the country. Our project aims to strengthen the capacity of the community to design, implement, monitor, and evaluate intervensions through provision of appropriate direction and technical guidance to communtiy initiatives.
